The Solar Farm on land to the West of Parrox Lane will help combat climate change and improve the UK’s energy security by generating clean, renewable energy. The solar farm would have an approximate solar capacity of 25MW. This is equivalent to meeting the annual electricity needs of approximately 7,500 average UK homes. This is the equivalent of saving approximately 5,600 tonnes of CO2 each year, the equivalent of taking around 2,500 cars off the road.
